Centrad Shortlisted for Fleet Safety Technology Innovation Award

Fleet Awards Shortlisted Fleet Safety Technology Innovation - TfL Bus Safety Standard Signals Next Phase of Technology-Led Fleet Safety
Centrad is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for the Fleet Safety Technology Innovation Award at the Brake UK Fleet Champions Awards 2026, recognising the company’s continued investment in developing technology that helps fleets operate more safely and efficiently.
The recognition reflects more than two years of significant investment in Centrad’s in-house software development team, who have worked alongside customers to design and deliver practical fleet safety solutions that address real-world operational challenges.

Investing in Innovation

As fleet operators face increasing demands around driver safety, compliance and operational efficiency, Centrad has continued to invest in developing technologies that provide greater visibility, actionable intelligence and improved risk management.
Working closely with customers across the bus, coach, commercial vehicle and specialist fleet sectors, our in-house development team has introduced new capabilities across the Centrad Platform, including AI-powered safety features, proactive fleet monitoring and intelligent tools that help operators identify and reduce risk before incidents occur.
This ongoing commitment to innovation enables us to respond quickly to customer feedback and continuously enhance our technology to meet the evolving needs of modern fleets.

Recognition from Brake

The Brake UK Fleet Champions Awards celebrate organisations that are making a meaningful contribution to improving road safety and promoting best practice across the fleet industry.
To be recognised in the Fleet Safety Technology Innovation Award category is a significant achievement and reflects the dedication, expertise and passion of the entire Centrad team.

Geoff Cross, Managing Director of Centrad, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to receive this recognition from Brake. Over the past two years we’ve made substantial investment in our own in-house development team because we believe the future of fleet safety lies in continual innovation. Every feature we develop is designed to solve real operational challenges for our customers and ultimately help make our roads safer. This recognition belongs to our entire team, whose commitment and expertise continue to drive Centrad forward.”

Thank You

We would like to thank our customers and partners for their continued trust and support. Their feedback plays a vital role in shaping the technologies we develop and motivates us to keep pushing the boundaries of fleet safety innovation.

The awards now move to the final judging stage, with the winners being announced at the Brake UK Fleet Champions Awards ceremony in September.

We wish all of the shortlisted organisations the very best of luck and look forward to celebrating the fantastic work taking place across the fleet industry.
