What's Your Role at Centrad?

I’m the Operations Co-ordinator, so when customers contact Centrad for support, I’m often the first person they speak to. I handle day-to-day support queries and help coordinate onsite service visits when needed.

What’s been a standout moment for you so far?

Supporting a customer who had previously struggled due to poor support from another supplier’s equipment. By taking ownership and sorting the issues properly, we rebuilt their confidence and they later went on to expand their fleet with additional Centrad systems. That was a great outcome for everyone

What do you enjoy most about your role?

Building strong relationships and solving problems. There’s nothing more satisfying than knowing a customer feels supported and confident that we’ve got things under control.

How do you stay productive?

Focus music, dimmed lights, a closed door, and Microsoft To Do. Getting the environment right makes a big difference.

What do you get up to outside of work?

I’m really into video editing and drone footage and I’m currently working on growing a YouTube channel with the aim of going viral one day. I’ve also always had a fascination with transport, so if I wasn’t doing this, I’d probably be driving trains, trams or coaches.

What motivates you most?

My family. Setting a strong example for my kids through hard work is what drives me. At weekends, you’ll usually find me flying my drone, playing football with my daughter, taking train rides with my son, or enjoying a game of pool with friends.
